About Mindy
Our community is home to a broad spectrum of voices and the representative of the people must be open minded to progress, determined in vision and dedicated to the public process. I understand the values of our community to embrace diversity, transparency in government and quality of life. I am engaged in the community, committed to public service, and dedicated to the people of the city. I have contributed to the forward growth and development of the City of Fairbanks that will have a lasting positive impact through my community service and tenure with the FNSB Assembly.

Local government is the most impactful form of public policy and community development.
I am committed to the positive growth of this community through my active involvement in local government for over 15 years.

I've been a business agent and organizer for a local union, fighting for our local residents' right to earn a livable wage and enjoy a quality of life. I've worked for the Alaska State Legislature and as the first employee of the Interior Gas Utility. Today, I am the Executive Director of the Cold Climate Housing Research Center, a non-profit advancing building techniques for cold climates.

It has been my pleasure and honor to serve this community in all these capacities and as a local elected leader.
